Superior Appalachian Pipeline



Superior Appalachian Pipeline, L.L.C. (Superior) is focused on midstream greenfield opportunities located in the Appalachian basin.  Superior is committed to providing complete midstream pipeline services to our clients which include: trunkline, gathering lines to the well pad, compression, dehydration, and metering.  We understand that each client's needs are different from the next and we will customize our services to meet their expectations.

Superior's professional staff will timely and economically complete the route selection, secure right-of-way, engineer / design, size, permit, construct and operate the gathering systems including from the well to the transmission line, and ultimately to the market.

We can also offer gas marketing services and assistance with obtaining take-away capacities.

Current project development includes;

  • PITTSBURGH MILLS PIPELINE - located in Allegheny County, Pennsylvania.  The pipeline is approximately 6.2 miles of 12-inch high pressure mainline and 10 miles of 16-inch, 12-inch, and 8-inch low pressure gathering which interconnects with the Dominion Transmission Co. TL-469 pipeline and has a delivery capacity of 200 MMcf/d.  The Pittsburgh Mills Pipeline is currently operational and plans for future expansion are already being designed.
  • BRUCETON MILLS PIPELINE - located in Preston County, West Virginia.  The pipeline is a 15 mile, 16-inch gathering pipeline that has an interconnect with Columbia Transmission Co. LN-1804 and will have a delivery capacity of 220 MMcf/d.  Bruceton Mills is currently operational.
  • BROOKFIELD PIPELINE – located in Tioga County, Pennsylvania.  The pipeline gathering system is approximately 5 miles in length and interconnects with National Fuel Gas located in Steuben County, New York.
  • SNOW SHOE PIPELINE - located in Centre and Clearfield Counties, Pennsylvania.  This pipeline consists of 12 miles of 16-inch and 24-inch gathering pipeline that has an interconnect with Texas Eastern Transmission Co. and Dominion PL-1 Pipelines. This facility has been operational since January 2016.
